Volunteer Work Abroad

Many professionals have skills that are invaluable in developing countries, and Project Abroad Pro is expert is marrying those skill sets with the destination that requires them most.

The voluntary work organisation offers placements in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and The Carribbean, and The South Pacific. There is a wide range of skills called upon from Engineering to Medicine.

Whether your profession is Human Rights, Social Work, Education or Construction there are many suitable voluntary work positions you could investigate. The work is unpaid, and you would spend between two weeks and nine months working abroad.

Voluntary Work Overseas

You can get started with a minimum of 2 years experience within your field, so you don't have to be a life-long professional or expert in your field to volunteer. Traditionally you think of engineers and medics being able to offer the most, but this is not always the case.

Many regions need expertise in other ares such as business development, to boost economies and industry in order to benefit the whole area through jobs and prosperity. Your expertise will be valuable whatever type of volunteer work you put yourself forward for.

Projects Abroad Pro is an excellent website, with volunteer jobs laid out by type (Human Rights, Engineering etc.) and Country. There are some excellent case studies to read that give a real insight into voluntary work overseas, and the rewards it brings.
