Thoughtblend.com is a relatively new website which aims to give people a space to share and discuss their thoughts and good ideas about lots of different things in life. Education, recreation, the environment - there are plenty of categories under which you can air your views.
Sometimes you have a great idea which you need to hear some opinions on. It may be a new invention, an idea for saving money or a general philsophy or thought about life. Whatever way your mind works, you’ll find a category to satisfy you.
The website is quite easy to navigate around, although there are lots of adverts which can make the pages seem a bit cluttered. Click on the 'All Categories' link to return to the main list. It would be helpful if this was displayed all the time as it would aid browsing.
If you enjoy reading other people's opinions, then ThoughtBlend.com is the place for you. Although still growing at the moment, it promises to produce some excellent discussion forums where you can air your thoughts and ideas freely. Even argue, should the mood take you!
Each subject or topic on ThoughtBlend.com has a clear heading in red so it can be easily identified. Click on the heading and the whole conversation or collection of replies is displayed. You can see where quite a discussion has taken place as the site will tell you how many comments there are about each topic.
And it's fun! There are some really random, way out there ideas which make for entertaining reading. For instance, how to vent your anger in the middle of a working day, why doesn't someone produce a phone that just rings (instead of everything else as well), and wind-up phone chargers as an alternative to electricity.
A bit American biased at present, but open to all. An interesting and thought-provoking website which, when hundreds of people are contributing, could be a minefield of opinions and ideas. This has great potential, just be careful you don’t discuss an invention which could end up earning someone else a fortune!
