Compare Your Journey also offers a reminder service for those travelling more than a few weeks ahead. This service sends an email to the user tickets become available. This is especially useful for train tickets - as these are only available within three months of travel.
Compare Your Journey also covers major events in the UK. This includes sports events and major summer music festivals such as Leeds and Reading, V and Glastonbury. The website provides tips on travel options, costs and when you should arrive at the venue.
The site provides a quick, simple alternative to complex door to door journey planners - and trawling through half a dozen transport sites to find the cheapest travel option, whilst remaining impartial and independent.
