With Late Rooms you can search thousands of hotels for last minute discounted deals on rooms. There are fantastic reductions to be found with up to seventy percent or more off the usual room rates. Often you don't need to leave it until the day before, as good deals can be found two weeks in advance.
It is not only Hotels that are covered, but other types of accommodation including Bed and Breakfast, Cabins, Pub Rooms, Chalets and even Castles. As a customer the LateRooms service is free to you, you can book online or by phone and secure the booking with a credit card. Payment is always made to the Hotel on departure, not through Late Rooms itself.
The "Find a Deal" search is simple to use, just enter a destination and an arrival date and the number of guests. The results can be ordered by distance from your destination, by star rating, or by guest rating.
The information about the hotels is generally excellent. Most have map and directions, details of facilities, a photo gallery which is often what you really want to see if you're going somewhere nice, and guest reviews. The reviews are often fifty or sixty strong, so you can really do your research if you want to!
LateRooms also offers a comprehensive City guide, to help choose a destination. There are always a good spread of special offers, and often very keen deals on four or five star hotels such as spa hotels which are trying to make a name for themselves. The keen deal spotter can often get a half price deal on a spectacular hotel break.
Holiday cottages are also covered, so you can find a cheap cottage for a self-catering break. The focus is on the UK but worldwide destinations are covered well now, and Europe is well subscribed.
